The second sector, the railway track Pazardzhik – Stamboliiski will be built by IGA RAIL INFRASTRUCTURE CONSORTIUM Varna for a price of 49.843 million leva
The grouping consists of GEA 21 S.A, a Spanish holding which has got representation not only in Spain but also in Romania, the Spanish CONSTUCCIONES ARRANZ ACINAS S.A and the Bulgarian company INGSTROYENGINEERING LTD which builds under Operational Programme “Regional Development” (OPRD) " that has completed projects under the Programme
Transit Roads, rehabilitates road sections on the territory of Bulgaria.
It is expected the performers to end the site till the end of 2013. After the modernization the speed on the sector is expected to be 160-200 km/h.

Sector Septemvri – Plovdiv is part of the project Sofia – Plovdiv, included in Operational Programme On Transport. The implementation of the other two tracks – Sofia-Elin Pelin and Elin Pelin-Septemvri will remain for the other programming period.
